Hablar de Dios es algo que me gusta y me reconforta, seguramente porque soy uno de los grandes pecadores del planeta Tierra. Pero el debate me apasiona y escuchar a los hombres de Dios aquí es algo que me deja absorto dada la sabiduría que tienen sobre este tema.
No es ni por asomo el dedo de Dios que aparece en la Capilla Sixtina del Vaticano (dedo de Dios que casi toca a su creación más suprema, Adán) pintado por el maestro Miguel Ángel, pero sí es un acercamiento contemporáneo y atrevido a esta obra casi divina. En esta fotografía aparece el dedo del Creador sujetando una cruz cristiana y, puesto a interpretar (porque el arte hay que interpretarlo), con este gesto nos dice de qué manera hay que descifrar tal vez, que Dios toca la verdadera religión existente en nuestro planeta, el Cristianismo.
Podéis reflexionar lo que cada uno considere oportuno; porque el arte es eso, y religión y arte, y arte y religión van de la mano.
Speaking about God is something I enjoy and that comforts me, likely because I am one of the great sinners on planet Earth. But debate fascinates me, and listening to the men of God here leaves me absorbed given the wisdom they possess on this subject.
It is not at all the finger of God that appears in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican (the finger of God that almost touches his most supreme creation, Adam) painted by the master Michelangelo, but it is a contemporary and daring approach to this almost divine work. In this photograph, the finger of the Creator appears holding a Christian cross, and, since we must interpret (because art must be interpreted), with this gesture it tells us in a way that perhaps needs deciphering, that God touches the true religion existing on our planet, Christianity.
You can reflect on whatever each one deems appropriate; because that is what art is, and religion and art, and art and religion go hand in hand.
