Ante ustedes los restos de un pasado glorioso en el mundo del cereal, un silo, que dio paso a otro pasado glorioso y perverso, el ladrillo. En el pasado, no hace mucho, el estado, en contraposición a lo que estamos viviendo, intervenía en la economía nacional porque es la función creo yo, de todos los estados, y estos son los restos de esos organismos creados como este que vemos que pertenecía al SERVICIO NACIONAL DE CEREALES, antiguo SENPA.  El pasado que murió por el presente que ya nació que sufrimos sus consecuencias.

Después del baño o la bata rosa de # Sorolla

Tremendamente hermosa esta pintura de Sorolla sobre todo por saber transmitirnos esos claroscuros del Mediterráneo, donde la luz y la sombras veraniegas aumentan la complejidad técnica del cuadro. Pero aquí hay más, mucho más, porque la mujer que es vestida refleja a una musa griega, subida en un pedestal, como influencia y homenaje de admirar el arte clásico en el Londres del siglo pasado, gracias al tiempo intensamente pegado al arte en su paso por la capital Británica. 

Simplemente sublime. 

Tremendously beautiful this painting of Sorolla especially to know to transmit those chiaroscuro of the Mediterranean, where the light and the summer shadows increase the technical complexity of the painting. But here there is more, much more, because the woman who is dressed reflects a Greek muse, perched on a pedestal, as an influence and homage to admire classical art in the London of the last century, thanks to the time intensely glued to art in its passage through the British capital. 
Just sublime.

Algo así debió de ser la presencia de Dios cuando el pueblo hebrero salió de Egipto camino de la Tierra Prometida. Una gran nube cubría al pueblo de Israel cargada de fuertes destellos de luz, lo que se conocía por aquel entonces como la Gloria de Dios. Atemorizados del poder divino el pueblo hebreo se postraba para mostrarle respeto ante la grandeza y el poder de Yahveh. 

Una etapa sorprendente del pueblo judío digna de haber sido vivida en primera persona.

O este artilugio sirve para espantar los pájaros o para espantar humanos por la utilización que ha tenido en muchas ocasiones con las películas de terror. Pero ahí le tienen, cumpliendo su función que no es otra que evitar que los pobres animalitos dejen de alimentarse con el sudor del trabajo del hombre, aunque hoy en día creo que ya no dan ni miedo porque los pájaros se las saben todas.

Que habrá visto durante toda su vida este cartel del "Tio Pepe" ubicado en la Puerta del Sol; todas las algaradas populares que el pueblo de Madrid ha hecho durante su historia contemporánea, que va desde el advenimiento del sueño republicado, pasando por el apagón social de la entrada triunfal de las tropas fascista de Franco, hasta otro sueño precioso como el 15-M. Y lo único que ha permanecido ahí ajeno a cambios, regímenes, reyes o presidentes, es este cartel publicitario como alegoría que lo único que nos queda es la publicidad. Triste fin para la humanidad.

#Bauhaus, 100 años de un sueño

Y asi fue, un sueño precioso de transformación social a través de las artes, todas en su totalidad. El nazismo cruel, asesino y siniestro terminó con lo que considero la emancipación del arte en la nueva Europa que después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, nacía. Podríamos habla de la aglutinación de arte en torno a la arquitectura, es decir una vuelta a la construcción de las nuevas catedrales pero esta vez  de la modernidad donde conviven todas las artes en dialogo y armonía, lejos de la independencia del presente. 

La Bauhaus fue el pegamento entre las artes aplicadas de las escuelas de artes y oficios, y la academias de bellas artes, es decir, solo un arte "totalitario" al servicio de la humanidad. Y gracias a esa aspiración globalizadora la diáspora producida por el nazismo por su cierre forzoso, llenó el planeta de su filosofía en esa expansión obligatoria que puso el nacional-socialismo sobre la mesa a todos su miembros. 

La Bauhaus es un sueño precioso de la humanidad.

Esta pieza creada originalmente para una exposición en la Galería Burghese de Roma, uno de los templos más destacados del arte barroco. Collishaw aborda el tema de la matanza de los inocentes en forma de zoótropo. Investiga a través de sus obras como consumimos imágenes de violencia y tortura en nuestro día a día, a través de periódicos, de la televisión y, sobre todo, de internet. 

This piece originally created for an exhibition at the Burghese Gallery in Rome, one of the most outstanding temples of Baroque art. Collishaw addresses the issue of the slaughter of the innocent in the form of Zoetrope. He investigates through his works how we consume images of violence and torture in our daily life, through newspapers, television and, above all, the Internet.

Asqueado y boquiabierto me quedaba yo de infante cuando contemplaba esta obra de Rembrandt y no porque de pequeño admirada el arte de este monstruo de la pintura, sino porque me impresionaba ver como abrían a un tipo por la mitad con admiración científica. Esta curiosidad desde mi infantil punto de vista no la entendía ya que me parecían macabras estas cosas, o estas cosas que se le hacen a un muerto cuando este ya es cosa de Dios. 

Disgusted and speechless I remained as an infant when I looked at this work of Rembrandt and not because of small admired the art of this monster of painting, but because I was impressed to see how they opened a guy in the middle with scientific admiration. This curiosity from my childish point of view did not understand it because I looked like these things macabre, or these things that are done to a dead when this is already God.
