En nuestra imaginación, evocan la silueta de peces, pero distan de serlo. Son, en realidad, las tijeras que los pescaderos emplean para destriparlos, y a veces incluso sacar los ojos de los peces que acabarán en nuestro plato.
Depredamos por pura necesidad, sí, pero hemos llevado esa depredación a límites insoportables. Desde hace varias décadas, la humanidad se ha convertido en una plaga que devora el planeta sin piedad. Me atrevería a afirmar que somos una de las especies animales más numerosas sobre la corteza terrestre.
