Luego, la necesidad de dejar una huella tangible los impulsó a grabar símbolos en las paredes de las cuevas. Manos impresas en positivo y negativo, manadas de animales en movimiento perpetuo entre la vegetación... imágenes cuyo significado aún nos elude, pero que nos hablan de una conexión profunda con su entorno.
Esta fotografía, entonces, se revela como un viaje al pasado paleolítico del grafiti. Un artista contemporáneo, aún en sus primeros pasos, experimenta con el aerosol como herramienta, emulando aquellos buriles de hueso que nuestros ancestros utilizaban para expresarse. Un diálogo entre el ayer y el hoy, donde el arte urbano se nutre de raíces milenarias.
"When faced with this image, we might envision an unfinished graffiti project, an echo of ancient artistic expressions that transport us to primeval cultures. Perhaps our ancestors, in their search for transcendence, found in dance and music the first forms of art, tribal rhythms that resonated in the air and sought healing.
Later, the need to leave a tangible mark drove them to engrave symbols on the walls of caves. Hands printed in positive and negative, herds of animals in perpetual motion among the vegetation... images whose meaning still eludes us, but which speak to us of a deep connection with their environment.
This photograph, then, reveals itself as a journey to the Paleolithic past of graffiti. A contemporary artist, still in their early stages, experiments with aerosol as a tool, emulating those bone burins that our ancestors used to express themselves. A dialogue between yesterday and today, where urban art is nourished by millenary roots."
