104 - #FOTOGRAFÍA - MEJILLONES EN SALSA PICANTE + #PHOTOGRAPHY - MUSSELS IN SPICY SAUCE

This is realism! This is like life itself. Here I have gone overboard and inspired by the work of Joaquín Sorolla I wanted to capture an image that goes from impressionism to luminism with almost no intermediate stops. Look at the textures, no sharp images of hyperrealism, it is rather blurry which gives it precisely what I was looking for and it is nothing other than the effect of painting done in an artisanal way, because it is rare for me to find filters in my images, and I like to immortalize things just as they are seen, far from any technological circus which I do not renounce in principle either.

Some simple mussels from anywhere, to tell the truth these are almost unique, gave me the opportunity to portray them within the daily life itself because just as God is among the pots as Saint Teresa of Jesus said, art is also found among those same pots.

Along with Picasso, Van Gogh are for me the two best painters in the history of humanity. The first because he broke with the past to reinvent himself by creating new things and the other because he captured the colors of nature or life just as I feel them. Before them I genuflect.

Exactly in that painting, the black of the afternoon dominates like the coal that the protagonists carry and that stains everything. That afternoon is like many afternoons, with a dying Sun that sets the sky and clouds alight with its color. This painting makes us feel the exhaustion of the hard day of the coal men and the well-deserved rest that seems to be coming. If there is something that hypnotizes me about Van Gogh, it is his intense skies or his nights full of actively shining stars. Nights or days like that must exist somewhere, perhaps not in this life or perhaps not on this spiritual plane, but Van Gogh saw them, painted them, and left them to us forever.

I want to live in his paintings, I want to see what he saw, I want to be able to have the sensitivity to stand before those incredible landscapes.

#PINTURA - RAMILLETE DE MANDARINAS DE JOAQUÍN SOROLLA / #PAINTING - BOUQUET OF MANDARINS BY JOAQUIN SOROLLA

The ability of the great masters of painting to adapt is impressive and Sorolla demonstrates this. From a simple bunch of tangerines he creates a fabulous work that captivates me at least.
What I can highlight from this painting is the realism that he captures in some very boring tangerines; he does his magic with the brush and enhances them to give them a soul. Possibly we are before a creator god who with the vital breath of his hand gives them life.
I am dazzled by the brightness of this tangerine that walks between dull and intense and as a background a scene of diverse colors but that do not believe themselves to be the protagonist since it is only a tool to highlight what is important and what I have named to the point of heaviness, the tangerines.
Look closely at them and stay calm, since they cannot be eaten even though it seems so.

Simplemente sublime.

Tremendously beautiful this painting of Sorolla especially to know to transmit those chiaroscuro of the Mediterranean, where the light and the summer shadows increase the technical complexity of the painting. But here there is more, much more, because the woman who is dressed reflects a Greek muse, perched on a pedestal, as an influence and homage to admire classical art in the London of the last century, thanks to the time intensely glued to art in its passage through the British capital.
Just sublime.
