Tantas bombillas navideñas como estrellas tiene nuestra Vía Láctea, eso sí, mas ordenadas. El cosmos visto desde la primera fila de la frontera cósmica, debe de ser algo parecido a esto. Entre tanta oscuridad, tanta materia y antimateria, entre el frio absoluto en el que flotan todas las cosas estelares, aparece la belleza absoluta, la belleza perfecta, la belleza física  a pesar de reinar el caos. Y nosotros aquí, pegándonos por unas fronteras inexistentes. 

As many Christmas bulbs as stars has our Milky Way, yes, more neat. The cosmos seen from the first row of the cosmic frontier must be something like this. Between so much darkness, so much matter and antimatter, among the absolute cold in which all the stellar things float, there appears the absolute beauty, the perfect beauty, the physical beauty despite reigning chaos. And here we are, hitting by non-existent frontiers.

Retrato de Jan Six de #Rembrandt

De un lienzo oscuro, como sin posar, aparece este hombre con cara de "foto" para ser retratado como por casualidad. Uno no sabe que puede aparecer de la oscuridad; si es un riesgo, una grata/desagradable sorpresa o un personaje como el que Rembrandt plasmó es este lienzo. ¡Y encima esta a medio aparecer! entre la luz y la oscuridad, en la mismísima frontera. Pero hay luz y donde es más intensa está la capa roja que inevitablemente nos hace dirigir la mirada ya que Rembrandt nos indica donde observar, es decir, nos manipula como un prestidigitador que quiere hacer desaparecer lo importante. Es la magia del arte.

Las fronteras naturales, frontera entre la parte seca y húmeda del planeta. En este punto nos dividimos gran parte de las especies terráqueas en un momento dado de nuestra historia natural. Del agua salimos y al agua volveremos en muchos casos en forma de cenizas. Este es el mar Mediterráneo forjado en mil historias y en mil dramas, todos ellos humanos. En cada gota del mismo está escrito esos dramas y esas historia de la cual está el mar lleno, como si fueran lagrimas, como si fueran susurros.

The natural borders, border between the dry and humid part of the planet. At this point we divide a large part of the Terráqueas species at a given moment in our natural history. La ciudad amurallada, una maravilla de la historia. Esta imagen está realizada desde  el lugar conocido como "cuatro postes" donde Santa Teresa fue encontrada junto con su hermano camino de la morería para convertir al sarraceno al cristianismo. Todo un ejemplo de Fe de esta mujer adelantada a su tiempo. A pesar de ser santa, y doctora de la iglesia, la pillaron comiendo carne un Viernes Santo en su celda, y en vez de sofocarse y arrepentirse, lo asumió como las tentaciones de su parte humana, lo cual la "humanizó" aún más. Y es que la carne tira.

This image is made from the place known as "four Poles" where Santa Teresa was found along with his brother Camino de la Morera to convert the Saracen to Christianity. An example of this woman's faith ahead of her time. Despite being Santa, and a doctor of the church, she was caught eating meat on a Good Friday in her cell, and instead of suffocating and repenting, she assumed it as the temptations of her human side, which she "humanized" even more. And the meat is pulling.
