Alguien dijo alguna vez que el arte moderno bebe de las fuentes de los niños, de las tribus aisladas y de los enfermos mentales, y viendo al gran Miró parece ser que sí.
Un genio como él recibió el encargo en su momento por la administración de hacer un cartel para promocionar turísticamente España. Hoy esa obra de arte es esta olvidada vaya usted a saber donde, y esto señores y señoras, debería de ser un delito.
Esta obra es bien sencilla; un Sol imponentemente rojo que coincide casualmente con las imágenes que nos muestran los meteorólogos por la televisión, envuelto por un círculo negro que a su vez esta semi circundado por una pincelada amarilla coronando todo ello en una figurada estrella negra. Luego la palabra España escrita podríamos decir que por un niño. En todo ello aparece el amarillo, negro y verde en fondo blanco. El significado es lo que había hablado antes, un Sol rodeado por una noche con una estrella, no hay nada mas representativo de lo nuestro. O bien estamos ante la representación de un ojo dándonos el mensaje claro de que se tiene que venir a ver España ya que no hay que olvidar que la campaña esta diseñada para el potencial turista internacional.
A mi me parece maravillosa esta obra de Miró y me transmite precisamente de todo lo que he hablado, y hasta tal punto lo hace que a mi me reconforta.
Cataluña es una fuente inagotable de creadores, que no se nos olvide.
Someone once said that modern art draws from the sources of children, isolated tribes and the mentally ill, and seeing the great Miró it seems that it does.
A genius like him was commissioned at the time by the administration to make a poster to promote Spain for tourism. Today that work of art is forgotten who knows where, and this, ladies and gentlemen, should be a crime.
This work is very simple; an imposingly red Sun that coincidentally coincides with the images that meteorologists show us on television, surrounded by a black circle that in turn is semi-surrounded by a yellow brushstroke, crowning all of this in a figurative black star. Then the word Spain written we could say that by a child. In all of this yellow, black and green appear on a white background. The meaning is what I had talked about before, a Sun surrounded by a night with a star, there is nothing more representative of ours. Or we are looking at the representation of an eye giving us the clear message that we have to come and see Spain since we must not forget that the campaign is designed for potential international tourists.
I find this work by Miró wonderful and it conveys to me precisely everything I have talked about, and it does so to such an extent that it comforts me.
Catalonia is an inexhaustible source of creators, let us not forget.
